    Curriculum Revamp: BoS Meeting Charts Future-Ready Path for Mechatronics

    The Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting for the Department of Mechatronics Engineering was held on 14 November 2025 at the IQAC Conference Hall, Jyothi Engineering College. Chaired by Dr. Anand Krishnan N., the session brought together distinguished academicians, industry experts, and alumni to review and approve the 2026 curriculum. Key decisions included restructuring foundational courses, introducing project-based learning, and aligning electives with emerging technologies like Mobile Robotics, Machine Vision, and Virtual Instrumentation. The board emphasized continuous evaluation, industry-linked certifications, and ethical integration in automation subjects. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to nurturing innovation, relevance, and excellence in Mechatronics education.
